Ingredients for 4-6 people: 

1 kg. brisket (brisket joint) of bovine 

1/2 liter of alcohol-free merlot 

1 carrot pieces 

1 stick of celery 

chive 

2 sage leaves 

1 mint leaf 

a pinch of nutmeg nine 

a pinch of cinnamon 

a pinch of marjoram 

salt and pepper q.b. 

 

Marinate the meat and vegetables with wine and spices to alemno three hours into the cooking pot. 

NB: possibly used an earthenware pot / clay that can be used for cooking in the oven. 

 

 

 

Cook over low heat (or in the oven at 150 degrees) for at least 3 hours turning the meat regularly and adding wine or water as needed. 

Remove the meat and Make it into thin slices and place them in the pan for about un'altrra now. 

 

Serve with a side of baked potatoes (or boiled) or lentils ... since it's' New Year's Eve !!
